Student Visa (Subclass 500) Fee - AUD 710

The Australian student visa application fee is AUD 710 as of 2025. Applications are submitted online via ImmiAccount. Biometrics are collected at AVAC in Dhaka.

Work Rights Restored to 48 Hours/Fortnight During Semester

Following temporary unlimited work rights during COVID recovery, student work rights have been restored to 48 hours per fortnight during semester, with unlimited work during official breaks. This remains one of the most generous student work allowances globally.

Genuine Student (GS) Requirement Replaces GTE

Australia replaced the Genuine Temporary Entrant (GTE) statement with a new Genuine Student (GS) requirement from 2024. Students must demonstrate their genuine intention to study and temporary stay. The assessment criteria are more comprehensive.

Australia Awards Scholarship - Applications Open
