Undergraduate Academic Requirements
- HSC / Secondary School Certificate - Recognized equivalency required; transcript with translation if needed
- Minimum Grades - Check each institution's requirements; foundation year available if needed
Graduate / Postgraduate Academic Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree - Relevant field; GPA equivalent accepted
- Motivation Letter / SOP - Required for most programs
- CV/Resume - Standard requirement for graduate admission
- Letters of Recommendation - 1–2 academic or professional referees
- Portfolio - Required for architecture, design, and art programs
- GMAT/GRE - Not commonly required; check with University of Tartu or TalTech individually
English Proficiency Requirements
- IELTS Academic - Generally 6.0–6.5 for English-medium programs
- TOEFL iBT - Generally 80+ for most programs
- Exemption - MOI letter from a previous English-medium institution accepted by most Estonian universities
Financial Solvency & Sponsorship Documents
- Bank Statement - EUR 400–500/month for living costs; 6-month history
- Sponsor's Bank Statement - Family sponsor's statement + employment proof
- Proof of Tuition Coverage - First year tuition payment receipt or scholarship letter
Visa Application Checklist
- Passport - Valid for intended study period + 3 months
- Long-Stay Visa (D) Application - Via Estonian Embassy or VFS Global
- University Admission Letter - Official acceptance letter from Estonian university
- Tuition Fee Payment Receipt - Proof of tuition paid or scholarship award letter
- Proof of Accommodation - Dormitory booking or rental lease
- Travel/Health Insurance - Minimum EUR 30,000 coverage, valid in Estonia/Schengen
- Proof of Financial Means - EUR 400/month minimum
- Police Clearance Certificate - From Bangladesh authorities
- Passport Photos - Schengen-compliant
- Academic Transcripts and Certificates - Notarized + translated
