Undergraduate Academic Requirements

• HSC / A-Level / IB - 3 A-Level passes (Grades A*–C typical); HSC with strong results accepted
• Minimum Grades - AAB–BBB A-levels for top universities; check UCAS Tariff points per institution
• Foundation Year - Available for students who do not meet direct entry requirements

Graduate / Postgraduate Academic Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (3 or 4 year) - Minimum 2:2 (lower second class); most competitive programs require 2:1
• Letters of Recommendation - 2 academic referees (standard)
• Personal Statement / SOP - Required via UCAS or direct university application
• CV / Research Proposal - Required for research and PhD programs
• GMAT - Required for MBA at top business schools - 600–700+ for Russell Group universities
• GRE - Less common in UK; some research programs may request it

English Proficiency Requirements

• IELTS Academic - Undergraduate: 6.0–6.5 | Postgraduate: 6.5–7.0 | Medicine/Law: 7.0–7.5

• TOEFL iBT - Undergraduate: 80+ | Postgraduate: 90+

Financial Solvency & Sponsorship Documents

• Bank Statement - Tuition + GBP 1,334/month (London) or GBP 1,023/month (outside London) × 9 months
• Funds Held for 28 Days - Money must appear in account for 28 consecutive days before visa application
• Sponsor's Statement - Sponsor bank statement + relationship proof
• Loan Approval Letter - From bank if using a student loan
• Official Sponsorship Letter - From government or organization if externally sponsored

• Passport - Valid for the entire UK stay
• CAS Letter - Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies - issued by your UK university
• CAS Reference Number - Unique 14-character number from the university
• ATAS Certificate - Academic Technology Approval Scheme - required for certain science/tech PhD programs
• Genuine Student Statement - Written explanation of study plans and future goals
• TB Test Certificate - Required for Bangladeshi nationals - approved clinic in Dhaka
• IELTS/PTE/TOEFL Score Report - Official report
• Academic Documents - All certificates + transcripts (notarized)
• UK Visa Application Fee - GBP 490 (up to 3 years) or GBP 1,151 (over 3 years) + NHS surcharge
• Biometrics - At VFS Global Dhaka
• Passport Photos - Meeting UKVI photo specifications

Processing time: approximately 3 weeks. NHS surcharge: GBP 776/year (student rate 2025). Graduate Route visa available post-study - 2 years work authorization.
